Oak aged “Ratafia” Animarena
The word amarena stands for sourcherry, the word anima stands for soul, Animarena is our soulcherry liquor: the black sourcherries are left into red Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine for a long maceration, the fruit is kept raw, not cooked, in order to get a nice taste of fresh sourcherries. We add just little sugar, in order to better age animarena into oak barrels. Full body of sourcherry, sour aftertaste, persistent. Gently sweet.
Color: ruby red with violet nuances.
